The Black album is good or fair enough to say it not their best and not anywhere their worst.I can at least respect metallica for doing an album like this at the point of their career.

sorry guys, Black album just doesn't do it for me. A lot of good songs and some very average songs.

You guys really had to be there to understand the sheer might of this album. I know most of you weren't because I was 11, and this changed my life.

My bad ass metal head uncle is the reason I love Metallica so much, and this album in particular.

I remember the first time I heard each of the 5 singles from this album on the radio, it was what really got me interested in Metallica -- for guys in me and Hans' generation, there was no more fascinating band than Metallica at age like 11-14.

This was absolutely huge. It was back when MTV was still relevant and played music videos, and radio was still relevant too. This was fucking everywhere.
