Nah none of my friends are going, which kind of blows. And lol the Orange County public transportation is horrible. Not an option. Borrowing a car or having someone drop me off (maybe my bro idk) are probably the best solutions
And yeah that sucks. Their concert here in San Diego was also on Tuesday (two days ago to be precise) but since they had one close to my hometown on a Friday and I don't have a car here, I might as well go to the one in Anaheim. I was pretty lucky. And lol the next day too?

Well, we haven't decided if we want to trek back that same night or not. It's starts at 7 and it looks like they have one band playing with them (Greek Fire, who I have not heard of), but getting in and out of St Louis is kind of a pain and getting out of the show and out of the city at a decent time probably won't happen. I'm getting old and being sleep deprived the next day doesn't work quite as easy as it used to, ha ha.

lol yeah me too. i was so pissed because the show before they were the headliners (they were co-headlining) and played fin as an encore, but because they opened at the LA show i was at, they didn't encore. I'm sure I complained somewhere in one of the Cities threads lol.
Also Switchfoot put on a pretty good show iirc

Yeah their Anaheim show sold out really fucking fast (which was weird since the crowd blew), like back in August a few weeks after they went on sale. But their San Diego show had tickets until the day of, which was weird.
But yeah, should have bought your tickets early. Although were you planning on going with friends or an older sibling or something? I found it hard to get a group to go to an Anberlin concert since they're not that niche, and you're prob too young to go to a concert alone?

So, Greek Fire kicked some ass. Their live sound was just about perfect; I could hear everything almost equally.
Anberlin's, on the other hand, vocal mixing was kind of awful. I could barely hear any of the guys singing. It also took them about 4 or 5 songs to get the lead guitar up enough to be able to hear it, too.

What the heck is Greek Fire? And both times I saw Anberlin the vocals were a little hard to hear, especially on the more raucous tracks. It wasn't as bad as you're saying though. I could clearly hear Stephen, who was on point at my concert. Bummer it was like that tho

Yeah, it might have been a combination of shitty vocal mix and the people yelling as loud as they could behind me and my friends. It was a bummer. I couldn't hear the back up vocals at all, tho. Once in a while Stephen would come through.
Greek Fire is a side project of two guys from Story of the Year: the guitarist/back up singer (who does the main vocals) and the lead guitarist. They were fantastic. Check this out if you have the time, tox:
