The progress Spencer made as a vocalist was fucking unbelievable. Dude is just a beast in every way.

I read somewhere that Spencer wasn't using his natural range on this album and that he was actually trying to change his voice to sound more like Dallas'

Yeah people say he was mimicking Dallas on this but really that's just conjecture to explain why his voice is so different than normal on this, I don't think anyone really knows for sure except the band. If you listen to stuff he recorded before this, like his old band This Runs Through, it is a fair bit deeper and closer to his vocals on UO post-this album.

Agreed, although the only one I don't like that much is I Don't Feel Very Receptive Today, and even then the ending is pretty sweet.
