Type [ quote] Text [/quote], without that space before the first quote.
If you want to quote someone, type quote=name, instead of just quote, in ONLY the first bracket

This is the only Opeth album I own.
I like it, but I feel like I mssing out on something.
Any other albums that are better or equal to this?
Title track is awesome.

^ second that.
I'd say Still Life is equal to this.
I'm going as far as saying Morningrise is better than this at times.

So any Opeth is a good choice?

I'd say yes, I enjoy them all quite a lot. Amazing to see how far they've come from Orchid to Ghost Reveries.
But if you're a hardcore metalhead, then watch out for their Damnation album.

Kewl, I've always wondered how to quote as well.
Meh, I can't get into Morningrise as much. I need to listen to it more, though. The thing about Opeth is that each of their albums fits a specific mood and feeling. None of them are exactly the same. That's the joy of Opeth. Get all of them.
However, if you're asking me, I'd say the top 3 are BWP, Still Life, and Deliverance. But I'm in the minority with that last one.

well, if you check out my profile and see the bands I listen to, then maybe you'll get an idea of my tastes. Mainly metal, but I can apprciate other styles. Although lately I've been increasingly interested in more melodic/acoustic passages/material. Broadening my horizons I suppose
Howevewr...it seems to me that most Opeth material gets a decent reception from the majority so nothing by them is really a bad choice?
Unless I'm wrong.

In that case, this album has the best balance between Metal and acoustic, IMHO. Get Damnation if you REALLY want to expand your horizons. It takes some time to get into, but once you do, it's great.
I like Deliverance because I find it to be the most atmospheric Opeth album aside from this one. The post-apocalyptic sound there is just chilling.

Nobody likes My Arms Your Hearse.

I do. I just think others are better. MAYH represents a sound they've never really touched on again since that album. Which makes it a unique experience from their catalogue.

I might check out damnation, just to push my boundaries, I don't like being close minded about metal anymoers o I'm open to most things. But if it's too clean it might scare me, if you see what I mean. Heh...

Hmm, that doensn't actually bother me a lot.
I might give it a listen, I doubt I'll be disappointed.

Steven Wilson's vocals in that are sooooo good.
