Listening to the tracks on their myspace at the moment after reading the review, sounds good man, might have to check the whole album.
Can definitely hear the Opeth similarities that some have mentioned.

It's just that they use a lot of the same elements, i.e. deep growls, nice cleans, relatively low-pitched smooth riffs, plenty of hard/soft transitions, progressive songwriting, ect.
This grew off me a decent amount, but it's still really great. I have a feeling their next album will slay this.
