I have never liked or understood the closing track; the rest of the album is a 5 easily. Can't justify giving it a perfect score with that track as the closer though. If it's the version with the 19 minute "Scars of the Shattered Sky" as the closer, it's a 5.

Got to admit it's not in keep with the rest of the album, but it doesn't effect the overall package for me.

I think it's a good way to close the album. I don't think of The Grain as an individual track, it's just the outro to Our Fortress Is Burning... and it actually works really well.
