Don't get me wrong, I still love this album, I'm just used to more clarity in electronic music. Is his other material about the same production-wise? I've been meaning to check some of it out

granted it sounds a bit old but I still think this is one of the most "pure" sounding electronic albums I've heard
and by pure I mean like crystal clear and shit, when I think of this I imagine like a bright white room or smth idk

my study album is biosphere's substrata
"been doing some reading on james and apparently he would just build his own synthesisers and circuit
boards etc etc to get the sounds just so"
lots of electronic musicians do this. they either build their own or mess with the circuitry of the
gear they have. hell some of the sounds autechre use are the result of their equipment fucking up,
like the beginning of clipper
