The Red Chord and grind as a whole is heavier than Death metal because of it's pace. Maybe heavier wasn't the right term. Maybe, "More aggressive". Anyway, I do like Lation's new album a lottt

Idk, it just seems like at a point, more heaviness doesn't make it heavier or more brutal. There seems to be a plateau for that sort of thing.

thats exactly how I feel, it was hard to put that into words. When I said I listened to heavier bands, I meant bands that were more intense because of the pace mostly, not to say that a band such as The Red Chord is 'heavier' than, say a band like Incantation, but rather more upbeat in it's intensity.
