Haha I was exaggerating about the 8 tracks, but I think the vocals are tracked more than once n this album and then layered over each other. Like one track just has high screams and one has low screams and then they are played at the same time to give that layered thick sound

Satanist is amazing, agreed. I also dig Zos Kias Cultas way more than this one. The layered vocals here are super obnoxious and don't work for me, but the songwriting is awesome so ::shrug::
