I really don't get this album, sounds like a metalcore band trying to be "clever" and failing to actually write decent songs - the combo of Jay Walking Backwards/Grandfather is ok but after that I lose interest completely.
If you want some jazz with your metalcore, Ephel Duath's "The Painter's Pallette" is a vastly superior (albeit a little different as it's "jazz-ier") record.
It's been a while since I've played this mind, maybe I'll give it another chance...

They are more of a mathcore/grind outfit than metalcore. This is probably their best album but I would say that they were a force to be reckoned with inside the genre. Impeccable live too.
