can't say i've heard it with the grace companion, but on it's own, times doesn't do as much for me as the majority of their discog.

wow really? thats how i felt about this one.

i mean idk dude end of the harvest, under the surface, exist, doorway, the last youll know and belief are all amazing fucking songs the album is just so straightforward and off the walls heavy at times while still having a cinematic flow. its really a fucking amazing album imo and come on dude TEH BAGPIPES

imo the second half of that album drags. the songs after End of the Harvest dont hit me as hard as the first half of the album does

I like the second half but the first is stronger. on record "Times of Grace" is sort of anti-climatic. but shiiiit that song live is incredible

"silver blood transmission (?) isn't a companion to tsib, is it?"

it's not, I have the CD, all the songs are in different lengths. but it serves as a great ambient album to it.

@Insurrection i actually agree. after Descent the album kinda trails off and never really finishes perfectly imo but the first like 50 minutes of that album is almost perfect. i do agree the last couple tracks dont really hit as they should
