I used to love Norma Jean but then I actually got Redeemer and was disgusted by how the songs had the same structure and were so goddamn repetitive.
And then I heard Botch. Basically, Norma Jean steals Botch ideas and what ideas they do come up with they repeat over and over until exhaustion.

Loved the first Norma Jean album, the dissonance is the aspect of metalcore I enjoy the most. Bands who combine melodicism and dissonance correctly tickle my fancy the most. I hate d-minor exploiting bands with a passion.

^ Yeah I enjoy each album equally. Anthology of Dead Ends is very short but it's incredibly potent, I hate that it doesn't get the attention it deserves.

Wikipedia indicates that the album was remastered on the two-disc 2007 reissue, but Amazon says it's the original recording on disc 1. Anyone knows?
