One of the best pop rock albums ever tbh. These guys along with Weezer dominated my childhood

I'd throw the title track in that convo too. This album was absolutely their peak, got it for Christmas in 01 and it's been a staple in my rotation ever since. Brings the nostalgic feels so fucking hard man, memories of first loves and heartbreaks and this album always being by my side to comfort me.

idk this is maybe 5th or 6th for me so placing those songs that high says a lot about their quality
not entirely sure what my top 10 would be but invented is def my fav song of theirs, with 23 probably at second

Definitely. I'd go for Clarity next, it's a toss up between this and Clarity as most JEW fans favorite. Go listen to Lucky Denver Mint, one of their best songs.

I actually sort of binged JEW last night and listened to Clarity and Static Prevails. Really enjoyed both of them. Still prefer this for now but obviously that could change. Probably gonna give Clarity another go today

I could see it becoming my favorite but I have a hard time seeing this as a 3

I've tried hard to enjoy Clarity on the same level as this because, ya know, indie credit, but I just can't. Lucky Denver Mint as I've said is fucking amazing and every bit as good if not better than many of the songs on this album, but as a whole album I don't think it's on the same level as Bleed American. This is such an incredible, of-it's-time album. It's no surprise the band has been trying to match it's acclaim and success ever since.

When I first heard Sweetness, it was the demo version, but I didn't know. It was only until I heard the album did I find out I had been listening to a demo version the entire time
