Identikit is the best on here.

Radiohead should have gone the "let's get even weirder than Limbs" route rather than the "let's make sad spacey piano string rock" route

they are good or maybe one of them can be great.....none of it is 'classic'

Glass Eyes and Desert Island Disk are fantastic as well, those need more love

those five are as beautiful and emotive as basically any Radiohead song for me
I'm keen for another more radical release, this album just seemed to be more about feels than experiments... a reflection of Yorke's personal life? idk

tf? I'm listening to TKOL for the first time in probably at least 4 years and I am a failure. I remember the first 2 tracks and they are awesome.

I remember the 3rd, too. What in the fuck??? I don't know why I wrote it off or what I was even doing in 2012.

Some have criticized this album as tame, not innovative enough, or just in general boring or not engaging. When I hear this, I agree, that a lot of their past weirdness and innovation feels scaled back and restrained. But the interesting thing to me is that more than with most artists, this feels very much in keeping with Radiohead's classic sound but just reinterpreted through the lens of age. Rather than lose their way or totally change direction, AMSP sounds like classic Radiohead reinterpreted by men in their late 40s.
I enjoy it a lot, but suspect I'll appreciate it a lot more in time.

I definitely agree, although I would say "a lot of their past weirdness and innovation feels scaled back and restrained" on In Rainbows too. That album isn't nearly as experimental as the few before it

Definitely, though it recaptured a warmth and joie de vivre that they hadn't displayed since the 90s, which I think people probably found a lot more relatable.

Maybe they're just saving up for LP10.
It'll drop on Kid A's 20th anniversary and be the greatest record known to man.

'Yeah I'm not expecting anything more exciting than tkol from this band'
I just listened to TKOL for the first time in years. There's nothing very exciting about it after Little By Little, imo. That album fades hard.

I know you love TKOL as you've said as much in the past. When I look over my ratings for Radiohead I realize I'm more of an In Rainbows fan than I am a Radiohead fan, but they've got some good shit on all their albums.

This record's too slow. It starts with a mid-tempo track and dips for the rest of the record.
