I feel little emotion in most of the songs, though I do get it in the last two tracks with the clean vocals for sure.

Pretty amazing this is a 4.3 still with now over 1000 votes. Must be pretty good.

This is fairly emotional in places though no? Especially if you keep up with the story and consider its not a genre suited to tugging at you heartstrings. Elements of the first track and the last 2 give me shivers

Well yea never said it was devoid of it. I feel a lot of it in Collapse. But yea it certainly could have used more despite how great this is for what it is.

@Mongi fair play my man, I'd certainly agree in the sense that this isn't an album I come to specifically for an emotional connection or experience

Happy to find out there is still life in the planet of thrash metal... By far the most exciting work this genre has offered us these last years. Probably couldnt have done it for me without the progressive touch.

Or is it a prog metal release with a thrash touch?

The former. I think it doesn't really work out to put every release on the more technical side of metal under the tag of progressive metal

It took Choirs of the Eye a decade to reach 1k votes. It took this a year. Not sure how I feel about that.
