I wish some songs like Lucretia were as long as Holy Wars, their early albums were always plagued by being short compared to bands like Metallica who milked their best stuff into like 60 minute LPs.

Belladonna is especially good on Spreading the Disease

"Also Chuck Billy > Hetfield as far as vox go."

eh Chuck kinda sucks. Then again most thrash vocalists are pretty hit and miss because they all have gruff or yelling vocal styles that just aren't everyone's cup of tea.

Few thrash fans like Anthrax. I really dig the Belladonna Era stuff though.

I initially couldn't get into their debut, but it's a good record. Still my least fave of the Big 4 debuts though. KEA would have to be my fave of those, although SNM runs it close.

Another weird opinion of mine: We've Come For You All is the only Anthrax I can listen to in full. I guess I just prefer the gruff yelling vocals like Metallica and Testament to the high pitched ridiculous sounding ones.

I always felt that Tom Araya had the best vocals of the big 4

That isn't really a weird opinion Talons, although some may say StD is the only 'Thrax they can hear.

edit: just noticed you mentioned a Bush Era album.
