I saw them live in November and was really surprised at how small Blake's kit is. Something like 8 pieces. Sure shows that he's creative enough to make it work.

in all honesty I think thats because people who aren't that into the genre have been checking it due to the hype before the year was out, just in case they needed it on their list, and they didn't love it and so the average has sunk, so hopefully that trend won't continue. could well do so though, which would be a shame

Yeah the vocals are probably my favorite part of the album, gives the narrative a lot more character. I could understand where you're coming fromt tho

Vocals aren't as good as Black Future's, imo. But give it some time and the album will grow on you...that's what happened to me. Still like Black Future more but it's definitely my top album of 2016.

If you listen to the vox carefully, you can notice DiSanto really put emotion and got into the character he portrayed. The vox aren't as loud in the mix tho, oddly.
