Yeah, Please Remember has that droning/screetching sound going on for like a good 30-45 seconds before it cuts to guitar strumming. pretty obtrusive. Definitely doesn't make the listening experience better, but the guitar playing leads into Vertigo quite nicely.

the vocalist and guitarist were in a deathgrind band before this, so I wouldn't say they "distaste metal's bullshit" since they were practicing that 'bullshit' themselves not too many years back.

Deafheaven son cruzados de metal negro. Muchas personas extrañas feos odiarlos. Pero es debido a que en secreto odian a sí mismos en su lugar.



Sunbather es uno de los mejores discos de metal de los últimos diez años ( a pesar de que el metal básicamente muerto en 1994).
