The Entombed outro comes up in my mind a lot because of how much I've always loved it ever since hearing it. Entombed or Hole in the Earth is my favorite song of theirs.

Glad to see more love for what happened. Such an overlooked gem.

That's always been a highlight on here for me, not sure why it isn't more popular.

Yep. This has one of their best production jobs and that's a big part of why it's so good.

Punchy as hell on songs like Poltergeist but perfect clarity on songs like Entombed and Rosemary.

Yes. Yes a thousand times. Goddamn why Gore has terrible production astounds me. Deftones have always had incredible production and they dropped the ball big time. Honestly they were on a hot streak from Saturday Night Wrist for me. That and every album afterwards blew me the fuck away and then Gore had to come along.

Also the bass line during the verses of What Happened To You really reminds me of the Spyro games for some reason

honestly I don't think Gore production is that bad, the guitars are a bit overly fizzy sometimes perhaps but a lot of the actual textures + atmosphere were handled pretty well

It's not that bad, agreed, but after two records that sounded massive and gorgeous, it sticks out much more.

If Gore were produced by Nick I might've enjoyed it more, not gonna lie.

missed the Deftones teenage stage. I dig a lot of their songs I hear, but can't really stand that nu-metal shit. is this a good place to start?

Y'all listen to this shit, and let's discuss. Are they trying to be Deftones? Did this dude purposely mimic Chino? CAUSE THEY'RE DOING A SOMEWHAT DECENT JOB AND I DUNNO HOW TO FEEL ABOUT IT

honestly that track sounds like their entire purpose as a band may just be to create an alternate follow-up to Koi No Yokan

Chino flipped when Linkin Park knicked like half a melody for a song once, imagine if he heard this lol
