TPAB is better than gkmc on the merit alone that it was able to influence a legendary icon David Bowie on his swan song album end of conversation TPAB>>gkmc!

i like TPAB better but i could see why somebody would say Sec. 80 is better but TPAB has the edge on Sec. 80 because it's sound is more experimental and in my opinion has better lyricism.it use to infuriate me when somebody would say GKMC is Kendrick at his best then i came to realize the majority of people who feel that way are people who didn't get to experience the '90s hip hop era or only had limited exposure to it and are more into the recent trends of current rap music i don't even listen to GKMC it's TPAB or Sec. 80.

some of my friends have this fucking lame ass mob mentality and when they hear new shit they always say they hate it at first until one of them proclaims its their shit then they all bang it, usually months after i initially recommended it and they were like wtfffff

that is the definition of pleb

I feel you Chuck. I was jamming S80 right when it came out and, not like it was that hard to tell, but I knew Kdot was gonna blow up and become the next big thing. One of the few times I was right. But people I knew slept on him and now drink his kool aid, such is life.

Actually I had a feeling ASAP would as well after LiveLove and that was largely true.

Hopefully Isaiah Rashad but TDE is so shitty at promoting anyone but Kendrick.

i don't know why but this just doesn't do anything for me.hearing sec. 80 & then finding out GKMC would be releasing then i listened to cartoons & cereal which never released on GKMC which i never understood because it goes so well with the concept of the album.i was so hyped and thought it was going to be some next level sh*t then when i Listened to it disappointed is not ever the word for it.this album doesn't sound much different from a lot of the stuff they were playing on the radio at the time it just had better lyricism but nothing special.what i always admired about him is he had his own thing it may not always be the most original but it is always very genuine & insightful.this album doesn't really make me feel anything.

that's cool man. i have to say the album stuck with me pretty much right away. no big deal though. everyone seems to like tpab but it doesn't click with me completely. happens.

I was rather unimpressed with Oxy tbh, felt like Q doing what everyone else was doing instead of his own quirky (heh) style like he had on Habits.
