will do, I tried Obscura yesterday, but didn't click instantly as I did with this, will have to get back to that one and FWTH after I get this and Pleiades Dust out of my system.
I like to start with the latest releases from bands I've not listened to yet if the ratings are good cuz I like to look to what's ahead for a band rather than what's been before. I saw they were working a new album and all the Guts talk on the new Ulcerate album made me want to czech this stuff out
This is very much up my alley at the moment, and at first glance I (very prematurely) doubt the older releases will be as interesting as this is to me.
The transition between Ocean of Wisdom and Forgotten Arrows is so fucking sick
Also Le Toit Du Monde has to be one of the best openers of any metal album

I really dig the first 2 guts and then Sands/Dust
Obscura and Wisdom feel weird but I do also need to put more time into those records

Wisdom is fine I suppose but yeah both of those don't really appeal to me. This on the other hand, DAYMN

This prolly has more crossover appeal or something something ‘accessible’ idk
Obscura takes a while to truly unpack but it was fascinating immediately. Nuanced af / replay-able till death too (probably, not yet verified - will get back to you on that)
