The deaths of Layne, Cobain, Weiland, and Cornell are all sad and strange. But Cobain and Layne's really stand out

Cobain's and Layne's I understand a bit more. Obviously Soundgarden are far from cheery but for Chris to just hang himself out of the blue...I was shocked. But then again I'm only 28 and I suppose if I was 28 when Kurt killed himself I would have been shocked too.

Chris’ death completely shocked me.

I just thought all of the older guys that made it through all the drugs and shit would be around for a lot longer.

not always the case unfortunately. a lot of people aren't in for the long haul when they've got a foot in the grave

I was 14 when Kurt killed himself it wasn’t the least bit surprising tbh. The man was a mess.

Deaths like Chris Cornell's are always especially saddening to me, it's a reminder that struggles with mental health are more often than not a battle that lasts a lifetime.

True way of looking at it. Rough to think about. I don’t think a musician’s death ever hit me as hard as Cornell’s.

Bowie's death sucked quite a bit. But I've been a huge SG fan for decades. The news that CC had died just totally broke me.

Don't think I ever grieved a celebrity's death as much as I grieved Chris Cornell's

cornell's death fucked with me pretty badly, even moreso because it put staley firmly back in my mind.

This is possibly the sickest AIC cover I've ever seen/heard.
