I asked this flat earth dude where the sun goes at night and he said it just goes really far away so you can't see it. I asked him if he'd ever actually watched the Sun rise or set. He refused to answer the question.

They always find some ways to avoid questions or come up with some new crazy "theories" to answer it. Also it's kind of ironic that they think the earth is a flat disc surrounded by some big ice dome or whatever. Wouldn't that still make it spherical?

^That shit is great though

Haha! Naah he meant NBA player Kyrie Irving, who has said flat earther bullshit.
But I read this vice article by this guy who went to flat earther meetings and interviewed people there. He likened it to a cult that people get sucked into, a lot of the time when they lose their jobs or their lives are otherwise spinning out of control. Attributing sinister ulterior motives to shadowy forces trying to control their lives is a sort of coping mechanism and they find a community through this which acts like a support group because everyone is going through similar problems. That's why flat earthers never admit they're wrong. There's nothing to be gained by being a sphere-earther and they don't want to lose the communities that they're a part of.
I suppose it's better than them falling into religion and becoming violent extremists or some shit.

WRONG! Actually they're both about equally catchy and overplayed.

@BrushedRed I sadly agree with literally EVERYTHING you just said. Where the FUCK were Leon, Yuffie, Sid, Cloud, Aerith, SEPHIROTH??? Such a damn shame. I wanted to see the conclusion of Cloud and Sephiroth’s fight when they disappeared in 2, but instead I got NOTHING.

If only synchronicity could have been a concept album....
To this day, I can't understand how the album is the best selling album in the police's career, when it has one of the worst songs of all time: MOTHER
