Even not considering how crazy good and mind-bending the entire album is, it's easily one of the single most-cited dm albums as being one of the best and most important in the history of the genre

Idk maybe it’s a time and place kinda thing, and this was also the first I ever heard of gorguts, so even tho I dig all of their records this one is far and away my favorite.
I’d go so far to say that if Pleiades Dust didn’t feel a little meandering at times that it’d be my second favorite since I very much see it as a continuation of this.
