"Nearly every song uses a slight variation of this exact structure:

Riff x4

Verse

Chorus

Verse

Chorus

Guitar solo

Verse

Chorus"

describes 90% of rock music nice job lol

Not really. I can think of many rock albums that don't do that, for example Superunknown and OK Computer. I'd say it applies mostly to Nirvana and Alice In Chains.

"You need to listen to more metal."

Never in human history has this ever been the answer to anything.

Then again, I'm sharing ratings with "wiggabigpenis11," so what do I know.

Yeah I normally really like metal and dark, depressing music but this album just does nothing for me and idk why. My lasting impression for 90% of the songs on this album is just "well that was alright I guess". Something about it just seems so sterile to me idk. There's a very slightly dark, despairing atmosphere to it but it just isn't very potent and as a result I can't get into it.

I know you're just saying "weekly" randomly, but I'd just like to point out that my last comment on this was over a year ago. That's an impressive amount of restraint as far as annoying 2.0 commenters go, you have to admit.

i've read that his apartment was littered with piss and shit. his corpse was found basking in the glow of tv static. nobody had spoken to him in months. just absolutely depressing to understand his mental state at the time of his death. rest easy layne.
