this is one of my favorite albums but nowadays it seems like too much

and i really have no personal basis to relate to its melodrama and i imagine most people here don't which is why i'm sort of confused by the amount of 5s

yeah it's a tad melodramatic. You're right, i was just thinking about your comment earlier, how sputnik sucks and you think about leaving, and then you shittalk one of your 5s xD

I still like it for it's intensity and honesty.

Yeah definitely, I mean despite my never having really connected with this album it was still a sure 5 for me.

But I'm just in the process of reevaluating some things right now. I've been feeling like Chan describes in the 3rd paragraph of this review, and it's made me wonder why I'm spending time on this site and why this album's a 5.

Sorry to hear that. Hope you find out what's dragging you down, or what's missing in your life. I think most of us have hit that point at some time in their life, and if they didn't they probably will.

But i can't imagine that investing time into music and stuff can be that bad.

Thanks, I appreciate it! I'm hoping it's just a side effect of my painkillers, and the rest of my week is looking better, so hopefully I stop being such a downer soon.

And I agree that finding new music is a good thing. It's using Sputnik for that means that's the problem. I think I end up spending more time making pointless conversations in pointless threads than finding and discussing music. There's just better things I'd like to do with my time than talk to a bunch of users, most of whom I'd probably dislike IRL, you know?

Yeah i get that, if it the internet consumes stuff in your real life, it's kinda fucking bad, regardless whether it's sputnik or something else.

I only listen to You Won't Know, Archers, Not the Sun and Welcome to Bangkok nowadays. I spun this so many times last year that I can't fathom listening all the way through.

still jam this a few times a month

still feels overdramatic but there are definitely times where the songs still work (limousine, the second verse of you won't know where it gets loud, luca where he just screams)
