Am I the only person here who likes that there's a rapper who produces over the top obnoxious hip hop
and actually backs it up in his real life personality.

Yeezus is so conflicting and interesting. It's really good, I can say that at least. Guilt Trip and Send it Up are kinda mediocre but whatever, so were one or two on this.

You know, everybody has got his limits. And while I thought his over-the-top confidence was still
entertaining on this album, i think he just crossed the line for me on yeezus. I don't see a song
like "Runaway" that reminds me of the fact that he's indeed a human and has feelings and shiat. He
sounds like an over the top wrestling villain now.
The fact that I didn't like much of the production of yeezus didn't help either. Black Skinhead has
pretty cool production, but On Sight made me wan't to puke instantly. I am a god is a hooorrendous
track as well. The lyrics are so bad, the whole track is so ridiculous with the whole out of place
screaming.

I think I'll need a ticker for how often Kanye uses a pejorative term for African Americans on that album if I ever feel like giving it a listen. Then again, why even bother with Kanye's lyrics.

I was just poking some fun at the tendency to interpret the shit out of anything "art". But that's just my perspective, if we're being serious what you described is a perspective as valid as any other perspective unless we have an actual statement by the artist which would verify it in terms of intention and message.
And in his case I'm just gonna out on a limb and doubt he's this creative genius or "savante" that some have called him. But again - just my perspective.
