Can people please shut the fuck up about Eros already.



'Smile' was good, but nothing wholly original or overly unique compared to similar songs they've done in the past.



'Melanie' basically became 'Rats! Rats! Rats!' on Saturday Night Wrist--and outside of that, there's nothing else to suggest the album was going to be anything great. There's still quotes you can find from the band members, stating the direction of the album wasn't heading anywhere great over the course of writing and demoing the material.



I get that people want it for nostalgic purposes--and to have one final piece of collective music compositions to remember Chi by.



But that ship has sailed.



I do, however, agree that an album update of some sort would be nice. It's been over half a year since Chino compared the writing process to White Pony.

Agreed on Eros. I mean, I’ll happily take it — any Deftones material is fine by me — but this obsession is a little annoying.
