Lars got lazy years ago, up until the Load era he was actually pretty damn good.
Agreed with the Kirk comments though, he also gets real lazy live with his solos and is genuinely sloppy at times.
Hetfield has always been the man though, seen them live like 7 times and each time he was on it. Such a great frontman/performer.

James is great musically agreed, I've always thought he can come across as kind of a dick though, maybe I'm wrong. Feel like that's why he and Lars work well together since they're both like that. Poor Kirk in the background lol.

Lars is to drums what Fieldy is to bass imo. Not the most proficient performance and are easy to make fun of for how they play, but they have a distinct style that is very much their own. When you hear them play you know exactly who it is
