yeah this dude i know was even calling it his "favorite album ever" a few weeks ago

but hey... it's whatever!

in any case i didn't even know cole x kendrick thing was a reality (or at least a planned reality)

i think j. cole's actually kinda the reverse effect of kendrick, people hate him unfairly because of his success

dbizzles im curious why you think TPAB is so shit. I mean I personally think it's overrated but still has a handful of great tracks

I also think is shit and as dbizzles stated only a couple tracks save it for me.

Same case for me, the only difference is that I was so disappointed with TPAB that I was hesitant to try this one.

I won't rant on here about it because I did that enough in the other thread. In small summary, I think the big swing of ambition totally missed the mark for the most part, I don't care for the concept at all and find some tracks literally unlistenable. Believe me, I tried to get it.

There's a lot of gold in here. I think Money Trees is my favorite track.

i'm a sucker for the singles & sing about me/dying of thirst

only tracks i really found "unlistenable" on pimp were "for free" & the one where he's just like fake-crying at a bar or whatever

which i imagine are the sort of things people think are "groundbreaking genius" even though he did that sort of shit on here anyway

The track is called "u" and yeah is a bit unlistenable.

Sorry to disagree, but no it isn't, only tracks I would listen on repeat from that album are King Kunta and These Walls.

These Walls is easily my least favorite followed by Mama.

Complexion > Mortal Man > BtB > Hood Politics > Wesley's Theory > Institutionalized ....
