My plays don't even transfer onto my itunes. When I click my ipod under devices it shows different play counts for the songs than my itunes does.

thats to do with how itunes and last.fm classify a 'play'

last.fm counts a song as being played when half the tracks length has been listened to; itunes counts it as a play only if the final second of the song was listened to
