wow 3 years later and this is really creeping back into my psyche. the overall vibe is slanted and obtuse, Chino's vocals are gauche and awkward, but then the ballads come and they're perfectly vulnerable, and the whole geometry of the record fits back into something that looks somewhat logical. And the album title is fitting because "Gore" is the bonafide nucleus of this record
