Really quite surprised by how low this is rated. Opener and 'Demons...' have really grown on me and those were what I felt the lowest points of the record. Tracks 3+4 are insane, 'Demiurge' is insane, and the tracks between average at worst a 3.8

i disagree pretty firmly with the idea that meshuggah albums are samey relative to one another
with that said, i think this one is way closer to Nothing than any of the others are any close to Nothing
so one hand i can kinda get why people who prefer the twisting of c33 and insanity of chaosphere might not like it as much
but on the other hand... damn
