That's definitely true. I was more comparing it to the other Puciato albums tbf. CI is its own beast.

I love this band's whole discog but Calculating Infinity and Disassociation are on another level for me.

Fair enough. Dillinger is my favourite band so I love all their albums and are all of practically equal quality. But OoUItK is my favourite, probably because it was the first album I listened in full by them.

Sputnikmusic must be part of the multi-billion dollar information age tech sector, because dj shuffle on my spotify clearly saw this thread bumped and decided that Prancer should be next in the queue.

Yeah, I was like 14 and the album was completely different to everything else I heard before.

That's how I felt about Cradle of Filth and exactly why they're still my favorite band today lol.

To me this is their best album by a decent margin. Prancer --> When I Lost My Bet has to be up there with the greatest two song opener runs in metal history.

I get that Calculating Infinity was insanely influential but this one is just way more versatile and listenable while still being ridiculously aggressive.

I still think this is their weakest album easily. A lot of cringe moments on here. Instrumentals are still as awesome as always.

Ire works does what this tried to do, but significantly better.

Be interested to know which moments you think are cringe Jokine. I'd say it's my second from bottom on my list but I still like it a lot.

"Be interested to know which moments you think are cringe Jokine."

Obviously, you weren't asking me, but I'd agree that some moments verge on cringe... specifically in terms of lyrics.

…Greg’s lyrics here are much better than on Miss Machine or Ire Works and I will die on that hill

Greg's vocals and lyrics were usually spot on.
