this is completely in alignment with my current evaluation of their discog, however I am open to change as I’d really like to regularly jam 6 x DEP albums and not 4.

Calling Killer a pleb version of this is a pleb take.
- Does this have any songs like Crossburner and When I Lost My Bet? No
- Greg's highs finally got to piercing levels like in Prancer
- This has many cool moments which this didn't have like the noir'ish break in Paranoia, the cool as fuck drum work in the second verse in the title track to throw you off, the rad intro on Understanding Decay etc
- There's more longer mid tempo tracks rather than short firestarters like Good Neighbor.
Is there as much of a difference between this and Miss Machine? I don't think so but both are fantastic. I'd say this is more consistant for sure but Killer has higher highs.

I dont see the next album having more mid tempo songs as a plus necessarily, some of this albums best moments are in the 2 minute classic dep bangers
I do need to give 1OU a listen soon, havent listened in for for a few years, this one was always more memorable to me though
