its sitting at a 3.5 for me and I can only see it going up unless it grows off me hard

"i was definitely expecting them to break out of their comfort zone a bit more and I still want to see them do it."
yeah after TKOL i really expected them to keep pushing the envelope but i guess maybe the divided reception got to them and they decided to go safe as milk which is a shame

i thought tkol was really strong. it's grown off me a bit over time but when it came out i was obsessed.

its still possibly my second favourite. its just wonderfully succinct and to the point.

This will always be the diamond in the rough, will never be wildly accepted but fuck it I still love the shit out of it.

definitely their best album cover. i always wished it was a longer album but other than that it was almost perfect
|

well you have to understand that the large majority of Radiohead fanboys think OK Comp is their best album and when you consider that it makes sense that their least painfully alternative album would be those fans least favourite
like for those people this new album is a return to form instead of just a really really safe radiohead album

honestly these days if i had to pick a favorite radiohead it would be the bends which was always my least favorite. but it just depends on what i'm going through as a person and the bends is their most fun record and i'm going through a point in my life where i'm pretty care free and happy so.

this edges out james blake for me by a tiny bit but anohni, grips, vektor, white lung are all stronger, imo. but it's all very early to say, for every album involved.

i used to have an awesome mega playlist with the two eps and these are my twisted words worked into the track list. it was awesome. i think of it like TKOL itself is the body, the two eps are the arms and legs, and the single is the head. king of limbs. boom meta.

i tried that anohni album and it was sounding cool but i dunno wasnt focused enough kinda just lost interest gotta try again

Love that looped guitar line on Morning Mr Magpie.

really...rh should have released tkol with all 5 of those tracks attached. it probably would have gotten a better reception.

"Ugh dude you're making me wanna put down the new one and go back to this hahaah."

"really...rh should have released tkol with all 5 of those tracks attached. it probably would have gotten a better reception."
