It took me a lot of time getting into this album,
but it was 100% worth it

Gun to my head if I had to boot a member from this it would be Levasseur, but every member is pretty crucial

Yeah it doesn't mean that they ended the production of metal albums. That's a pretty weird take, dude.
But ok I may be hyperbolic. Perhaps in the far future someone will dare to venture beyond this album. Jay can find solace in that thought.

Agreed, brutally

ive been sayibg that for years

According to my calculations and charts, if we go from least extreme to most, we go from silence to white noise, with all genres passing from edge to centre.
If we assume that these axis have a counterpart on the opposite side of white noise, then metal’s extremity would tap out at white noise and pass through, eventually reaching either James Blunt’s “You’re Beautiful” OR Red House Painters as the furthest that axis could go from silence to silence. SO, these are as brutal as metal could eventually become before reaching the void

MoM kind of gets it. But remember that the attempt at total logic ends in illogicality, in the self-dissolution of logic into myth. This is where this album resides.
Should be obvious tbh.
