incredible song.
Really the only thing holding this record back, for me at least, is Jacob’s vocals. It just feels like this emotionless bark. The best songs imo are Lonewolves and Trophy Scars, and it’s literally because Jacob is really at his peak.

Trophy Scars is a pretty interesting song and sounds amazing but also embodies the spirit of Fear Before The March Of Flames Always Open Mouth album which is quite a feat.

i kinda like the vocal style and that they’re pushed back a lil, blending a bit with the instruments. tbf tho i haven’t listened to this in a hot sec, just trophy scars

Ngl show was straight up dangerous.
But Jacob put the mic to my mouth for all the choruses in Aimless Arrow. Legit something I’ll never forget since it was already one of my favorite songs of theirs to begin with

talking about this album in retrospect, it's probably easier to remember it as being dull. but if you sit down and listen to this album, track-by-track, it's really a fantastic record. [2]
