this is prob my fave pop-punk album. no frills, but everything here is just executed so perfectly. perfect production too.
kind of ironic how Blink sometimes gets a bad rap for being "juvenile," because when you really put yourself in the perspective their songs are speaking from, so many of their songs are actually so touching. they have silly songs too, but then they have songs like Stay Together for the Kids. They were clearly very versatile in that way

this album does feel the most "how do you do fellow kids" of their classic run honestly but its still dope and stay together is incredible
everytime i look for you is the peak of this prob

will the last one out please shut the door!!
that's an interesting take, bubs. i don't exactly disagree, i can see what you mean, especially in songs like Anthem Pt 2. They'd gotten a bit older at this point. But I don't think it's to the point where it starts feeling disingenuous or anything. Plus, they still had songs like Happy Holidays up their sleeve, so the inner child was clearly still there in some capacity haha. i'm just glad we got another album like this before the self-titled.
very hard for me to pick a fave track from this. they're all associated with different memories.

yea i was more so talkin about the anthem pt 2 / story of a lonely guy / give me one good reason school of song than happy holidays. those songs are still kinda fun tho lol

yeah, that makes sense. Story of a Lonely Guy would def be top 5 for me, maybe even 3, based on the feels-factor.

This is actually one of my least favorite blinks (with delonge ofc). Just never got me. Self titled, dude ranch and dogs eating dogs though? So fucking good
But Stay together for the kids is one of their best songs. It blew me away when it came out.
