It definitely felt like it lol

About half the tracks on here feel like bootleg Tenacious D but without any of the self-aware irony that makes Tenacious D good.

the ride the lightning cover was interesting. again it is a bonus track and a bit of fun. but i was surprised with modern crisp production how different it sounded. made it worthwhile for me.

The cover was pretty fun indeed! I'm also not the person to ask about Megadeth since I've listened to (now) three of their albums.

I've given Peace a chance and decided to prepare for war lol

Idk I think the opening paragraph in the review about getting into metal through Metallica or Megadeth is extremely accurate. It was Metallica for me so I never really gave Megadeth a chance, and now the vocals are just grinding and all the guitarwork seems so over the top. Definitely respect them, but I just can't get into it. That said I might give their 80s albums a proper listen sometime.

Finally got around to it and yeah it’s bad but not really as bad as I expected. Way better than the last two Coroner albums at least.
