Not sure I have any particularly fresh takes on this. Interesting concept with an inconsistent execution. Some fun moments and decent tracks, but the lyrical content is pretty stale & repetitive, albeit delivered very well at times. 1 or 2 tracks fine, but the same targets for half an album? Would probably cull everything after Head Honcho as well.

the production on recovery has definitely aged poorly and it’s the worst mix job of his entire career but the lyrics are his most consistently heartfelt which makes it one of his best for me
