Pika has been recruiting likely naysayers in a bad faith power move, will someone please put a halt to this unlawful act?

It hasn't worn off me and I've listened to it around 10 times. It's hot AF where I live, and has been every day since this was released, and I think it's pairing well with the summer vibes. It'll likely leave my rotation soon to make room for new stuff, but it's solidified itself as one of their best for me. Amtheyst, Flamme, and L'enfant are all top tier 'cest.

People saying Souvenirs is classic have an argument only because it's Alcest's first album, but I think their style pretty much exclusively improved from there.

absolutely. I bought Souvenirs when it came out, it was truly magical at the time and I will always hold it in high regard from a nostalgic perspective, but they've grown as a band tremendously since then. I feel the same way about Ecailles. Great record, but comparing that to something like Kodama or this, the songwriting has vastly improved.
