I know the Daughters comparisons feel kind of annoying but these guys really slipped in to fill that void. Like if Daughters hatefucked Deathconciousness and this was the bastard spawn.

I think that the self titled and YWGWYW are probably better than these two records but I just can’t get that stink off their music… Alexis doing what he did is still so disappointing and disgusting tbh. I don’t think I’ve listened to the band in a couple of years at least.

YWGWYW was really good and i listened to it a great deal when it came out but i think this tops it for me. Mostly because it is more catchy. Even tho songs like Lords Song and The Reason They Hate Me pops up on my playlist from time to time, CA is just more appealing to me overall

This tops Daughters S/T by a tiny amount. I was never into YWGWYW. Also, 'never go back' (2)... so who knows these days?

This has more post rock / post punk influence but they're both full of great hooks and gloominess

no, just Camgirl. The debut is very different to this but in a similar realm of excellence imo. Admittedly they go for an almost completely different vibe on the debut, so it's hard to compare them directly. I mostly just think about wanting my padded room when hearing Camgirl... gonna give it another whirl in a bit tho
