T/t is probably my favorite song of theirs lyrically.

I do agree MSLG, the t/t would make my top 20 for sure.

Anything off the first side is a lyrical masterpiece.

Agreed but side 2 has Die Young and Lonely Is The Word so this one is excellent lyrically all over.

Album is consistent from start to finish. A lot of people say the second side is weaker but its far
from it. Die Young is second only to the t/t

Yea, both sides are sure consistent as hell, and of course both make it my favorite Sabbath album besides Paranoid.

I prefer everything up to Sabotage. This is one of the hardest 4s ever though

Yeah, I think I've discovered one of the most important reasons that won't make me love THAT MUCH Vol 4:
Geezer's bass is pretty meh on it

His bass isnt that prominent agreed, but its more the lack of flow/inconsistency thats the main problem, and is what keeps me from 4.5ing it.

And I think it's and album that's more focused on solos than on riffs, I'm not a big one of any of them tbh

Theres plenty of amazing riffs on there. Supernaut, Under the Sun etc

Album Rating: 5.0
Under the Sun has an amazing riff in the solo, but I don't like that much the main one

The intro riff is the best
