Yeah I wondered if it was just me about the breakdowns on here. They made them heavy as hell but they’re also basic af. Like damn have some creativity with your chugs lol

The hype kinda made this quite a lacklustre experience imo, loved Full Tilt so was really looking forward to the whole album, reviews/comments indicated there's more to come but I'm quite disappointed that none of the other songs matched that quality or creativity. Still a good album, gonna jam this and put the hype train behind me before rating

Every time one of these generic ass metalcore/hardcore albums drops I just know Sputnik is going to overrate the hell out of it. These all start sounding the same to me after a while

Celebrity Therapist delivered to be fair (thinking of 'recent-ish' releases)

mostly a pretty fun album and I could at least understand why some people were head-over-heels for it.

Calling this generic really goes to show how you have no idea what you're talking about...yet again. I swear people just throw the word generic out there without even knowing what it means. You really think this fits with the actual generic likes of Architects, Wage War, Beartooth, August Burns red etc? The commercialized carbon copy paste bands that everyone keeps emulating with newer groups just repeating that same sound but no...this is generic apparently. It's one thing to not like it and I get that surely, but we're just throwing words out there losing all meaning at this point. Outside of sputnik too, JB is hardly even known either. I feel like nobody even talked of them until the singles for this album started dropping.

you can copy paste across your album without it sounding like architects. this doesnt sound commercialized, but by the standards of the type of core it is its not all that creative outside of a few songs. nash is dead on about the "breakdowns written by a 4th grader" remark lol

Didnt say it sounds like architects, it sounds like the generic niche shit that music nerds deem as good music

Ain't gotta be creative or genre innovative to be good, great even.
