Well, I’ve only listened to the first four tracks and the singles that dropped, but so far I’m loving it. Like others are saying, “So Long, Mother Earth” really stuck out. One of my favorite songs by them after just a couple listens.

It's a complete mystery how albums end up on that list tbh. It wasn't that long ago that Diamond Eyes showed up lol

Maybe how often new ratings are coming in is a factor, too

That would be my guess as well. Whenever a big new album drops you'll have an influx of people rating it and probably checking out the couple albums before it too.

It could be, though there would have to be some sort of filter with that considering albums like, say, OK Computer have multiple ratings at least every couple of days.

I figure it's a combination of several things, but as of why it is still in there now, I am thinking all the new ratings that are still coming in might be the reason since the thread is only getting a few bumps every other day or so

New reviews/bumping of threads in said reviews and new soundoffs/ratings would be my guesses

I wonder if the dig feature may factor in, too, but I don't think everyone even knows it's a thing. Hell, I forget it exists every so often

"New reviews/bumping of threads in said reviews and new soundoffs/ratings would be my guesses"

I think that would solve the mystery and also good call even though I also rarely use the dig feature; actually just a couple of times on Scarypoolparty's Doom Hologram and Hopesfall's Arbiter. It's a good way to place attention to not so popular/advertised releases.

Yeah, it's a little eye catcher when someone makes a comment and has a dig

Every once in a while I see an album in the top 10 that doesn't even have a review, tho, so what do I know
