Man, that glow in the dark variant is noisy as hell. Most static sounding record I own. Apparently there is phosphorous added to the vinyl which creates an abrasive surface, which makes it sound kinda terrible. So sounds like they are 0 for 2 within the vinyl dept

Yeah vinyl is a weird format. I do listen to the vinyl I purchase and enjoy the experience, but I mainly find myself buying it to support my favorite artists. I do appreciate the experience of sitting down and kinda being forced to sit through a record and appreciate the artwork and lyrics in a way that I just don't do with digital music. My vinyl setup is nowhere near as good as my listening setup for digital music, and while I enjoy the different sound of an album I get from vinyl, it's certainly not "better" in my situation. I also have never really come around to buying digital music, so given the choice I'd rather own a tangible format.
