Well, that was short lived. These guys had an interesting future and were really the only new metalcore band I really cared about. But if it's filled with abusers then they made the right choice.

Honestly, that's how I feel about this whole genre. The whole Cory Brandan thing didn't help either. I'm really struggling to care about anything in this scene anymore.

i wish i knew about this open secret so i didn't look like a straight up clown trying to support these guys
cameron and cory would usually hang out after shows and talk to people but the other members were usually aloof, i guess this explains why. abusers in the music scene always act aloof before and after shows. goddamn predators need to be eliminated from the hardcore community.

i think the next steps they've been taking are very respectful, like sharing info for survivors in the oc hardcore scene. but i'm led to believe that even those who didn't abuse teens are still complicit. i'm just conflicted and want to vent about it. makes me seriously pissed
