Nothing changed upon relistening, the album remains trapped in the 4.0 territory. Melancholy, Barren, Chthonic Odyssey and Abyss are awesome as always.

I don't dislike Lorna Shore though - it's just that this band are better musically and technically.

I'm actually coming around to their latest album being their best. Took a bit for me to get into it, but I keep going back to it as of late

I think the production on that is garbage, which is a shame given their still audible songwriting chops (Prepare to Die is pretty great). I do not agree, but I'm glad you find pleasure in listening to it.
