I'm in no hurry to hear the new one. I do agree with Pika though, good lyrics can't save a boring album.

It's really good. Better than this for sure. Also, check out In Shallow Seas if you haven't. Very catchy album.

Yep, I love In Shallow Seas. YWNA is great too.

I actually need to revisit that one because I haven't heard it in ages.

they just dropped another new track re: George Floyd and the protests called "To Serve and Protect." heavier than anything on White Line Fever..

song's a bit cheesy but its heart is in the right place

The new one isn't doing much for me atm. I've only given it some fairly distracted causal listens so far though. Hopefully when I properly sit down with it there'll be more impact.

YWNA is weird in that all of its songs are individually great but also instantly forgettable
as opposed to In Shallow and The Question where the songs just embed themselves in your brain

New one has grown on me a fair bit. Seems to have barely made a splash on Sput though. Needs a review!

I've been meaning to give it a shot. I have some time this week so I might try to review it finally

Nice! Looking at your rating seems the review will be favorable.

Gave this another listen since it came out and unfortunately it's pretty boring

Yea, on some days it's even worse that I'm only a man
|

It's worse than Man on any day imo. I like that album a lot.

I can't say I like only a man a lot, because I was one of the people who got introduced to the band when they only had two albums out.

Haven't checked that one out, I've checked the more highly rated albums of theirs tho

Same here, been with the band since The Question came out. I remember liking a few tracks off Man, but then over the years the whole thing has grown on me. From Crib To Coffin is one of the band's best songs.

I still like this album, it’s just so uneven. There is a near perfect album locked in here but it is way too bloated and the lyrics and vocals are head scratching at points while still having some of their best songs. Miles better than the new one at least
